FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE FROM THE CALIFORNIA YACHT CLUB…

RECOLLECTIONS FROM LATITUDE 38 AND THE BAJA HA-HA

Richard Spindler, founder and editor of Latitude 38, the West Coast’s leading Sailing Magazine and a world famous Sailboat racer, will be the guest at a dinner presentation on Friday August 3 at the California Yacht Cub in Marina del Rey.

In a rare public appearance, Mr. Spindler will discuss his magazine’s outspoken “ Letters” column and it’s irreverent responses from readers; he will also talk about world cruising aboard his custom-built 63-foot catamaran “Profligate.”

As founder and and  “Grand Poobah” of the Baja Ha-Ha 750 mile Cruiser rally, held each fall from San Diego to Cabo San Lucas, this year scheduled to kick off on October 28, Richard will discuss plans for the first Southern California version of this inspired and popular sailing event.

Capacity attendance is expected – please make your reservation early to enjoy a good seat!
