Event Description

Teaspressa, a Phoenix-based gourmet beverage company and creator of the first and only healthy alternative to traditional coffee and tea, is expanding nationally, opening its first Signature Café in Culver City, California Monday, Sept. 11, 2017. The Signature Café is opening in partnership with Primal Kitchen, a new clean-eating culinary concept, located at 9345 Culver Boulevard
Culver City, CA 90232.The Signature Café located inside Primal Kitchen, will feature a full-service barista style café serving handcrafted gourmet beverages, as well as a “Grab-and Go” style option. As a part of the grand opening, Teaspressa is unveiling its new products which are available to the public for the first time ever and available for purchase in the café for at-home brewing.

Teaspressa is a pioneer in gourmet tea preparation, handcrafting the first and only hybrid beverage that combines the best of both the coffee and tea worlds. Teaspressa’s Signature Tea Blends are created using a patented Tea Concentration Technology developed by Teaspressa’s founder, Allison DeVane. Teaspressa’s Signature Tea Blends are loose leaf and prepared like espresso shots, resulting in gourmet Tea Lattes and coffee-inspired beverages that contain as much caffeine as espresso, but provide consumers the health benefits of traditional tea, which can be made at home or in Teaspressa’s cafes. The proprietary process currently includes four Teaspressa Tea Blends each handcrafted by DeVane, which will be expanding to include an on-the-go Teaspressa tea bag product and new signature blends, including a paleo blend exclusively crafted for Primal Kitchen, which will be sold across the U.S. in its Signature Café locations and online.

“We are excited to expand in partnership with Primal Kitchen” said Allison DeVane, founder of Teaspressa. “Last year, we had exponential growth with the opening of our first location and a spike in online sales. This year, we will be expanding even more with new café locations and products available to a wider communiTEA. Primal Kitchen and Teaspressa aims to help people live healthier, better lives together.”

Launched by Mark Sisson, a best selling Paleo diet expert and former elite endurance athlete, Primal Kitchen is one of the first clean-eating culinary concepts in the U.S. Each Primal Kitchen location will include a Teaspressa Signature Café  to expand its mission of healthy living. The Teaspressa Café will be equipped with Teaspressa’s signature brewing machine, products, and baristas serving Teaspressa’s signature handcrafted recipes and tea blends, such as London Fog, Primal Proof, Emerald Rose and Primal Ginger Vanilla. Teaspressa’s signature drink recipes are comparable to lattes, mochas and other gourmet coffee beverages, but made with Teapressa’s signature shots of concentrated tea. The cafés will feature a specialty patent pending industrial-grade proprietary brewing machine designed by DeVane.
