Tell us a little about yourself. Why are you here?
I'm a johnchals who carries his poetic heart in a bag around the world. At 25, after graduating in Languages & Literature – English, and working as a teacher and storyteller, I decided to jump on the Multilanguage universe of North-American adventures and landed in the U.S. In the beginning, I felt like a stranger at a weird party, but little by little, my bilingual skills developed allowing me to increase the volume of my Brazilian silences. I've studied movies, write and produce independent films. Most recently, my poem Internet was selected to be part of the book Poetize 2021. Now, from within high-pitched linguistic noises and years of cultural tuning, my first bilingual poetry book Half Love, Meta(de) Amor is being published by WeBook
