Actor Tim Robbins Makes Special Guest Appearance at Culver City Town Hall

One of the strange perks of living in Culver City -- as opposed to, say, Des Moines -- is that celebrities sometimes show up at the city's Cultural Affairs Commission meetings. Seen on the Streets of Culver CIty: Jam in the Van

Jam in the Van, which is described on this web site as "a mobile live music showcase" apparently had some transmission problems in West Culver City in December. The vehicle was gone a few days later, so hopefully Paul's Transmissions was able to get the Jam back on the road.

First Walk of the New Year

I wanted to start the year off right, with a walk through my favorite town in Los Angeles,  Culver City.  Not much happening this morning most business closed for the holiday but a few were ready and open forcutomers..  As I walked I reflected on the end of another holiday season in Culver City.  The lights that were strung with care will be coming down all too soon in my mind.  I love the holiday lights and decorations that the residents put up annually so glad to see the holiday spirit…
