Ed Massey Mural in Culver City Will Be Saved, Moved

The Culver 7 Theater Building is due to be demolished over the weekend, but according to a representative of the artist, Ed Massey's mural will be saved. The mural, entitled "Syncopation," will be taken down as early as Friday morning and will be moved to the Playa Vista campus of the Westside Neighborhood School. Our loss is Playa Vista's gain.

Seen on the Streets of Culver CIty: Jam in the Van

Jam in the Van, which is described on this web site as "a mobile live music showcase" apparently had some transmission problems in West Culver City in December. The vehicle was gone a few days later, so hopefully Paul's Transmissions was able to get the Jam back on the road.
