Affordable Housing Complex in Culver City is On Target for Completion in May

According a recent City Manager's Report to the Culver City Council, the affordable housing project at Tilden Terrace in Culver City is 60 percent complete, with a completion date projected for May 31, 2013.  City staff will work with the Developer, Los Angeles Housing Partnership, to initiate the tenant outreach and application process in February. 

Tilden Terrace -- at corner of Washington Blvd and Harter Avenue in West Culver City -- consist of nearly 11,000 square feet ground floor retail and commercial space as well as 33 units of one-, two-, and three-bedroom affordable housing on the second and third floors.  The project also includes a community room, a multi-purpose room, a cyber-library, a rooftop community garden and two interior courtyards. These residences represent the first affordable family housing units created in 10 years in Culver City.
