Celebrate the Branded Arts Buidling in Culver City

Faithful Culver CIty Times readers know my love for the Branded Arts Building. The property at the corner of Washington and National has singlehandedly made Culver City the mural capital of Los Angeles and serves as the proud and colorful gateway to Culver City for people coming to the city on the Expo Line. You also may know that the property is scheduled to be torn down in January of 2013.

Therefore, to give it the send-off it deserves, the Branded Arts Building curator Warren Brand is throw the build a going-away party -- the Branded Arts Block Party 2012 this Saturday, November 10, from 1:00 pm to 1:00 am. This 25,000 square foot mega gallery opening and epic party will feature extraordinary art, live music, in-person painting, and multiple bars. Artists, art lovers, music aficionados and others looking to have fun will converge.

Tickets are $20, and can be purchased HERE.

The space features incredible murals byHerakutYoskay Yamamoto,Meggs, Miss Van, Dabs Myla, Anthony Lister,  Gaia, Robert Standish, David Flores, Rime, CYRCLE, Andrew Hem, and more.
