Helms Bakery in Culver City is hosting its 3^rd annual Helms Bakery Sunset Cinema series beginning this Saturday, September 8, with a screening of 'An American in Paris.'

This screening will feature an additional treat: Arrive at 6:15PM on Helms Walk when special guest Patricia Kelly, widow of Gene Kelly, will introduce the film and share her memories of her husband. The film will begin immediately following Mrs. Kelly’s presentation, at approximately 7:15pm.

The series continues all September long. This year’s theme is "Celebrating the History of film in Culver City," with all of the movies selected from MGM’s catalog. Here’s the complete schedule:

September 8^th – An American In Paris

September 15^th – The Wizard Of Oz

September 22^nd – North By Northwest

September 29 – Some Like It Hot

The screenings all begin at 7:15pm. Come by early to grab a bite to eat or get your movie snack to go. Bring your friends, family, and a warm blanket for a free and fun night at the movies. They’ll provide the chairs and a few surprises throughout the series, so you can just sit back and enjoy the show!
