Herakut Mural in Culver CIty Disappears

We knew that this would happen at some point - the amazing murals at the Branded Arts building at the corner of National and Washington in Culver City were only possible because the buildings were slated to be torn down. And now it seems to be beginning. Two of the three murals painted by the internationally renowned German muralists and street artists known as Herakut on April 29, 2011, are now gone.

I'm sad to see them go, and it makes me wonder whether all of the works are now really on their way out....
