The CULVER CITY SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA continues its 2013-14 Season with, A Winter's Concert. The concert is Sat., Feb. 22, 2014, 8PM, Veterans Memorial Auditorium, 4117 Overland Avenue at Culver Blvd., Culver City. Frank Fetta is the Conductor/Music Director.

CCSO historically programs unusual, out-of-the-way works, and we remain true-to-form. It is not often one hears in one concert separate concertos for viola and bass, performed by two young soloists from our Parness Concerto Competition: Benjamin Chilton, Viola, is the First Runner-Up in the Intermediate Division, and William Cravy, Bass, is an Honorable Mention in the Senior Division. A popular modern work and a dazzling symphony of Schubert complete the program. The orchestra was named Best of the Westside, 2014 (The Argonaut) from our summer Marina concerts, and we hope to uphold our part as "the musicians that perform together under the direction of Frank Fetta, (and the tireless support of Matthew Hetz) will always be a treasure that Culver City can enjoy."
