Attempted Break-In on the 4100 block of La Salle Avenue in Culver City this afternoon

There was an attempted break-in on the 4100 block of La-Salle Avenue this afternoon around 2 p.m.  Our neighbor arrived home to find her television outside of her house and when she attempted to go into her house, the robbers ran away from the home.  She informed us that she saw a couple of young black men, perhaps high school age or thereabouts running away from her house.  Another neighbor saw one of them casing outside the house, then using his cell phone to call his buddy to bring a vehicle.

Culver City police were called, but they were already gone when the resident arrived home.  If I or anyone else has any updates, please feel free to post.  I will follow up with police to see if they have any additional details.  Just a warning to our fellow citizens to keep their doors locked during the day, day break-ins are not uncommon in our great city.  I personally will be taking more precautions as well, so if anyone attempts to break in our house, beware!

Also it would be helpful to have more of a description of the intruders. What they were wearing, any identifying marks?
