Culver City Plunge Gets Plastered -- Will Reopen this Friday

The Culver City Municipal Pool -- known as The Plunge -- has been closed to the public since December 22 for annual maintenance. Two failing filter tanks were replaced, and the pool's old plaster was chipped away and re-plastered on January 14. (The photo above is the "after" shot. The one below is the "before"). Some maintenance was also performed on the offices and locker rooms of the facility. The Plunge, located at 4175 Overland Avenue, is scheduled to re-open this Friday, February 6.
