MAX BENJAMIN PARTNERS TAPS NEW SR VICE PRESIDENT

Max Benjamin Partners (MBP), a Beverly Hills, California real estate investment company known for helping clients obtain financing in an ever-challenging market, has appointed Manhattan Beach-resident Drew Rands to serve as Senior Vice President.  In that capacity, he will draw from his nearly two-decade career to craft and oversee transactions from inception to completion and form and maintain relationships with the firm’s capital partners.

“We are delighted to welcome aboard such an experienced and successful professional who will, no doubt, prove to be an important asset to MPB’s executive team,” announced the firm’s founder and president Max Mellman.  “Despite challenges presented by today’s shaky economy, we believe that MPB will continue on its upward trajectory and a leader of Drew’s caliber will be key to taking us to the next level.”

Most recently, Rands worked for a Santa Monica-based commercial real estate investment banking firm for eight years that culminated in his serving as executive vice president.   There, he developed and maintained relationships with capital partners and worked with commercial real estate owners to secure optimal financing so they could achieve their investment goals.  He was also an investment banker and senior analyst for a large LA-based commercial mortgage banking firm and, prior to that, was in charge of a portfolio of multi-family properties for an investment firm in Encino.  The University of Oregon graduate has contributed to more than $2 billion in commercial real estate acquisitions, dispositions, debt and equity transactions throughout his career.

MBP is emerging as a disruptor in the financial and investment fields by structuring complex transactions that are proving to be a win-win for those involved. Potential investment opportunities are carefully vetted by MBP to ensure that all parties involved have the expertise, financial strength and integrity to complete each deal. In addition to Timberline Hills, the firm currently has more than $150,000,000 of single family residential projects in the works.

MBP is located at 8447 Wilshire Blvd, Suite 400, Beverly Hills, CA 90211.  For more information, contact 310-773-4938 or visit MBPartners.com.
