Culver City says:

Due to a failure of a piece of equipment owned and operated by Time Warner Cable, the audio portion of the City Council meeting of Monday, December 5, 2011 was not broadcast over CCTV Channel 35 or the City's website.

The City apologizes for this unforeseen circumstance.

Good idea, Catherine. I'll contact the other four council members and post their comments when I receive them!

I was pleased to see all 5 council members so actively involved and engaged with the community  throughout the process.  Last night's unanimous vote was not only an informed decision, but laid rest the notion that residents, businesses, city staff and our elected council could not work together for the best possible outcome for our community.  This is what makes Culver City a great place to live & work.

Thanks to all the council members for their own eloquent takes on why they chose Combined.  I hope CC Times will print all of their comments here for those who were unable to hear/see the meeting.

I was very excited to watch the meeting on Channel 35 last night about Parcel B, what a disappointment when I had no audio on that channel.  I also was unable to get the webcast stream on my computer.  Thank you Culver City Times for posting Souncilman Scott Malsin's comments.  I cast my vote for the Combined Properties, I am a happy Culverite today.  This is very exciting stuff!!!

Thanks for the encouraging words! I really appreciate it. Keep your eye on the site: I'll soon be posting Councilman Scott Malsin's comments about the choice to go with Combined Properties.

Looking forward to the City Council meeting on Parcel B today.   Kudos to all those involved in the redevelopment of downtown over the past decade for having the foresight to wait until downtown evolved into something uniquely Culver City.  From long time residents to new arrivals, we are justifiably proud to call Culver City home.  Thank you CCT for helping get the word out!
