At 7:00pm this Thursday, June 19, 2014, on the Sala Rossellini Theater stage at the Italian Cultural Institute, Los Angeles, CA, artist and author Darrell Fusaro will share entertaining stories highlighting the positive side effects of being Italian-American from his new book, What If Godzilla Just Wanted a Hug?
If you’ve never been to the Italian Cultural Insititute this is the perfect opportunity, located at 1023 Hilgard Avenue, Los Angeles, CA, 90024, (310) 443-3250. Fusaro is a natural storyteller and his unreasonable optimism is as contagious as his laugh. You will leave this event feeling great, and enthusiastic about your life, whether you’re Italian or not. “Darrell Fusaro shares his life lessons with inspiring creativity, . . . encouraging, funny, and heart-warming —a combination I highly recommend!” -- Laura Harvey, editor of Daily Word. This event is free and open to the public. If you will be attending call (310) 443-3250 RSVP is a must, seating is limited.
Joining Fusaro on stage will be Edward Biagiotti, his co-host on Funniest Thing! with Darrell and Ed on Unity Online Radio. Each week they share stories about how stepping out boldly always leads to better-than-expected outcomes. Following the performance, Fusaro will be signing copies of What If Godzilla Just Wanted a Hug? Books will be available for purchase.
Fusaro's new book, What If Godzilla Just Wanted a Hug?, encourages the talented and timid to trust their gut, act on intuition, and step out boldly. Even if you just bought it for the chapter titles and Fusaro's illustrations alone, you'd be getting more than your money's worth for this book. His wit and wisdom is packed into easy-to-digest, bite-sized stories about how he transforms chaos into tranquility and succeeds by doing the opposite of everyone else.
“Spending some time with Fusaro's stories will leave with you no choice but to smile and carry on!" -- Sister Rose Pacatte, FSP, Author and Film Critic, Sister Rose Goes To The Movies
