Event Description
Orchestra Nova LA is pleased to open its second season with an enchanting family concert, “Fables and Fantasy.” This magical afternoon will feature a repertoire of pieces beloved by children the world over and include live narration and video projections that promise to spark the imagination and delight the child that hides in all of us. Enjoy the joys of music and storytelling with us!
PROGRAM: Ride of the Valkyries by Richard Wagner; Peter and the Wolf by Sergei Prokofiev (narrator Gabriela Bonet); excerpts from The Nutcracker by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky; and a medley from How to Train your Dragon by John Powell (arr. Sean O’Loughlin)
ADMISSION: free (suggested donation $10) PARKING: free (please do not park on residential streets)
