Event Description

Come meet Dan Santat, a very funny man and winner of the Caldecott Medal for The Adventures of Beekle. Dan will share the new book he’s illustrated, Dad and the Dinosaur. It’s a heartwarming father-son story about bravery and facing fears. Nicholas was afraid of the dark outside his door, the bushes where the giant bugs live, and the underside of manhole covers. Luckily, his dad knows that even the bravest people can get scared, and it’s okay to ask for help facing your fears. Come see the many other great books that Dad Santat has written or illustrated, including The Cookie Fiasco. For ages 3 to 8. Free
