“CUBA – Exploring a Cultural Time Warp on the Forbidden Island”
Discover Cuba, a land frozen in time from the 1950s -- yet possessing a surprisingly vibrant and contemporary art, cultural and intellectual life – an experience different from that of most any other place on earth at California Yacht Club’s July 26th dinner presentation.
Join CYC Staff Commodore Martin McCarthy and fellow adventurers for a stimularting evening, based on the personal experiences of a group traveling under a special People to People program that opened many doors and hearts in the world’s 105th largest country.
Don’t miss this exceptional audio-visual program to vicariously experience people, passions and places of this “Time Warp” on the forbidden island.
Capacity attendance is expected – please make your reservation early to enjoy a good seat!
No-Host Cocktails – 6:15 – 7 pm
