Free Citywide Event Shows Off Culturally Dynamic Neighborhoods Through Local Guides, Culminates in 6-9pm Festival in Atwater Crossing

WHAT:     Found L.A. organized tours provided by residents, public figures and renowned artists, who volunteer to share their unique perspective and passion for their neighborhood.

Participants will experience an after-hours "sneak peak" into the local bakery, see inside an artist's studio, or explore a hidden alley garden.  Participants may sign up for more than one tour.

The day will culminate with a post-tour celebration ($25.00) of Los Angeles' ingenuity through ethnically diverse food, music and art at Atwater Crossing from 6:00 – 9:00pm. Dwight Trible, Artichoke, Elson Trinidad and the Soul Barkada will perform.

L.A. Commons, a project of Community Partners, works in neighborhoods throughout Los Angeles, facilitating artistic processes, open to all, that result in highly visible public art projects that tell dynamic neighborhood stories.
