When Aphrodite wants to win a beauty contest, she bribes the judge of the contest Paris of Troy, with the gift of Helen of Sparta, known as the most beautiful woman in the world. Impetuous Paris cannot wait to take Helen as his wife and kidnaps her from evil King Menelaus, running away with her back to the safety of Troy. King Menelaus is furious and wants to get his wife back and so starts a war that wages for ten years between the Trojans and the Spartans. With mighty Achilles on their side, the Spartans start to gain an advantage, that is until Achilles gets wounded in his heel, the only part of him that is not immortal, by a Trojan arrow, and dies. The Trojans gain an advantage and think they have won until a gift arrives in the shape of a wooden horse which is taken inside the walls of Troy. But the horse is hollow and during the night, the Spartans who have been hiding in the horse, creep out and take over the city of Troy, finally winning the war.
