Taking their cue from the Marvin Gaye/Kim Weston hit song of the 1960s, Jayon and Jon Kevin will present a lyrical and musical storytelling concert, exploring the power of two. Jayon and Jon Kevin are both professional musicians. Jayon is a classically trained vocalist and Jon Kevin, an accomplished guitar/bass player (with a wicked sense of humor). Through stories and songs, they will weave tales of couples that span history, cross cultures, evoke fantasy and celebrate real life, showing us that to make dreams come true, it just takes two.
We'd love to have you share in the festivities and enjoy an afternoon of great entertainment. As is our custom at the Institute of Musical Arts, a catered reception will follow the performance. You can buy tickets for $20.00 online at https://jayonjonittakestwo.eventbrite.com by visiting our website: http://www.imalosangeles.com or you can pay by cash, check or credit card, at the IMA office, while supplies last.
You are receiving this advance announcement of ticket sales, as a friend of the IMA or of the featured storytellers. A general announcement to the public will be sent out next week. Ours is a small, intimate theater, and we do expect that this concert will sell out. So please, purchase your tickets today.
We really hate the thought of disappointing anyone, so please call us at least TWO HOURS BEFORE the performance, to verify ticket availability if you do not purchase your ticket in advance. For additional information call: (323) 300-6578.
We hope to see you there!
