Event Description
On Saturday, August 15, 2015, The Garage on Motor Ave will be hosting LUISPALOOZA, the 4th Annual Music & Comedy Festival for Charity (The Garage in Culver City, 3387 Motor Ave., Los Angeles, CA 90034) from 3:00 pm - 10:00 pm. It will be a day of live music, stand-up comedy, celebrity bartenders/appearances, raffles, and silent and live auctions. Proceeds from which will directly benefit our Veterans suffering from Post-Traumatic Stress at the West Los Angeles Department of Veterans Affairs. This is the first time in almost eighteen (18) years that the PTSD Outpatient Services will be receiving outside donations, so you can imagine their need!
Our Master of Ceremonies this year is Jessi Belle. Currently scheduled musical performances by country group Jimi Nelson Band, alternative/indie/pop group Annuals, 1960’s rock, pop and R&B inspired group Albert and USMC Veteran John Preston, stand-up comedians include TMZ's Brian McDaniel, My Boys and America: Facts vs. Fiction’s Jamie Kaler (Navy Veteran), as well as Jenn Sterger, Justin Wood (Army Veteran), Jeff May, Avi Liberman, Robert Burton (Marine & Army Veteran) and Earl Skakel, with a special performance by The Dollface Dames and a special appearance by Pin-Ups For Vets.
