Meet some amazing birds, mammals and reptiles that are native to the California environment. In fact, you might even have seen them in your own backyard. This program focuses on the lifestyles and habits of our local critters and the contributions, both negative and positive, that wild animals make to the urban environment.
All animals are from the wildlife care center Nature of Wildworks which is dedicated to the lifetime quality care of non-releasable wild animals.
This is another of our many exciting STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) programs that are taking place April through June at the library.
This special STEM program is generously sponsored by Second District Los Angeles County Supervisor Mark Ridley-Thomas.
Ages 8 years and up.
