Take a front row seat and travel with Captain Bob Redman on the International Space Station. Children will learn about weightlessness and astronauts and their dangerous and thrilling missions to the moon. Then it's on to the exciting world of robots in space as we learn about Mars Rovers and how they landed and traveled on Mars. Lots of models illustrate and make the presentation come alive! This is another of our many exciting STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) programs that are taking place April through June at the library. This special STEM program is generously sponsored by Second District Los Angeles County Supervisor Mark Ridley-Thomas. For ages 5-11.
