Overindulge on a cornucopia of talent as WWA Gallery presents Color Ink Book’s “We’ve Got Issues” and PRISMA Artist Collective’s “Blood,” two simultaneous exhibitions jam-packed with some of the hottest artists today.

Exploding to life from the pages of the quarterly magazine is Color Ink Book’s aptly frank titled group show “We’ve Got Issues.” On display in the main gallery, this over-the-top extension of the publication features new and original black and white pieces by pop surrealists, lowbrow, avant garde, underground, and street artists.

Returning to WWA Gallery (WWAgallery.com) to commemorate year 4 and doing it bigger than the last, the Brother’s Washburn have put together an impressive line-up of well over 50 premier artists whose brilliant works have graced past volumes of the art-lover’s coloring book.  Most of the artists will be in attendance, so come celebrate with the movers and shakers of this subversive art scene.

“WE’VE GOT ISSUES” ARTISTS INCLUDE:

64 Colors, Aaron Crawford, Ana Bagayan, Angry Woebots, Alex Chiu, Anthony Ausgang, Bob Dob, Bwana Spoons, Camilla d’Ericco, Chase Dryden, The Chung!, Dave Correia, David Arshawsky, David Cook, David Flores, David Horvath, Deryke Cardenaz, El Luchuk, Elif Varol Ergen, Ferric Plock, Glenn Barr, Hannah Stoufer, Jason Deary, Jason Maloney, JC Rivera, Johnny Crap, Jonathan Way$hack, Jordan Debney, Juan Muniz, Kelly Tunstall, Ken Garduno, Matt 136, Mike Die, Mildred, Monty Montgomery, Mr. Shane Jessup, Nate Van Dyke, Patick O’Connell, Ragnar, Scott Tolleson, Shark Toof, Sheryo, Skinner, Steven Daily, Tharp, Tomi Monstre, Tom Haubrick, Travis Millard, and many more.

Debuting in the project gallery and commanding special notice is the PRISMA Artists Collective with their first exhibit “Blood”.  “Blood” is the darker antithesis of two mini-exhibits; the other being “Milk”. The soothing and nurturing quality of milk and the pulsating, purifying energy of blood are the primary substance in our lives and together define the cycle of beginning and end. The two mini exhibits explore the fascination with, and aversion towards, these two life-giving and life-sustaining body fluids.

Founded by Kaspian Shore, PRISMA brings together an acclaimed international community of artists and through encouragement, collaboration and discussion aims to foster and inspire its’ members at all stages of their careers.

“BLOOD” ARTISTS INCLUDE:

Allison Sommers, Audrey Pongracz, Caitlin Hackett, Casey Weldon, Daria Hlazatova, Kaspian Shore, Kelly McKernan, Nom Kinnear King, Michael Shapcott, Ruben Ireland
