California Yacht Club Sunset  Sailboat Series Every Wednesday until September 5

 The 48th annual 2012 Sunset Series at The California Yacht Club, 4469 Admiralty Way, Marina  del Rey, CA 90292  runs every Wednesday, except July 4^th, through September 5.  The Series, which originated in 1964, is the largest racing Regatta of Sail Boats on the Santa Monica Bay with 21 scheduled races of 8 boat classes.  Traditionally, 65- 75 Sail Boats participate. Racing classes start in five minute intervals beginning 5:55pm. After racing each Wednesday, participants gather at the California Yacht Club for libations, BBQ and comaraderie.
