The Culver City Sister City Committee (CCSCC) is looking for eight incoming 9th – 11th grade Culver City High School age students and families interested and willing to make a two-year commitment for a 10 day student exchange.  Participants go to Iksan City, So. Korea this coming summer  July 22 – August 3 and host a student or chaperon the summer of 2018. Students will learn about Korean culture and stay with families that have a child of similar age and gender. Most trip expenses are covered, with the exception of the round-trip airfare.

We also welcome adults to apply to be a chaperon. Download and complete the chaperon application for our selection committee. Not mandatory, but if you happen to speak Korean that’s a plus.  We'll spend the upcoming months learning about Korean culture, proper demeanor  as an ambassador representing our city, trying out meals you're likely to encounter and maybe some important phrases all travelers want to know before visiting any non-English speaking country.

Visit our Youth Facebook page at http://tinyurl/lq5ax24 , scroll back to July and August 2011, 2013 and 2015 to read some of the notes and see the pictures from the last amazing trip to Iksan.Summer 2017 high school travel
