“Victories in Israel:
A Multi-media presentation about the State of Nature and Natural Resources in Israel.”
Adat Shalom Synagogue and the American Society for the Protection of Nature in Israel are proud to host Michelle Levin, Outreach Director of ASPNI, as she begins her North American tour discussing “Victories in Israel: A Multi-media presentation about the State of Nature and Natural Resources in Israel.” Ms. Levin will be speaking Tuesday, May 29 at 7:30 p.m. in Adat Shalom’s Newmark Hall.
This timely and free presentation will show how, despite difficulties of time, space, weather and terrorism, Israel managed to be the only country in the entire world that ended the 20th Century with more forested acres than it had when it began. Attendees will be taken on a virtual tour of Israel and shown areas from east to west and from north to south where successes, both large and small, have made a difference in maintaining the environment and natural beauty of Israel – a country no larger that the state of New Jersey.
