'We Tell Stories' continues an enchanting summer season of magical interactive folklore and multicultural story-based plays on Wednesday, July 6 at 2 p.m. Children will be chosen from the audience to dress up and participate. Performances will take place Wednesdays at 2:00 p.m.through August 3. We Tell Stories will share with us a different 'Read for the Win' summer reading-related theme each week.The theme for the 7/6 performance is 'Fables for the Win'  - moral tales for being winners.The following plays are featured: "The Bat, the Birds and the Beasts" (winning isn't everything); "Jupiter and the Lion" (sometimes the win is what you least expect); "The Tortoise and the Hare" (what makes a winner?) We Tell Stories performances are made possible in part by a Culver City Performing Arts Grant with support from Sony Pictures Entertainment.
