Architecture, Food, Music, at Helms Bakery on April 14

Helms Bakery is one of the places in L.A. I always drag visitors to see, even though there's little to do there than shop for furniture. Inevitably someone grouses that there isn't an actual bakery on premise (but hey, Houston Street is nowhere near Houston, right?) So I'm super excited to see an event at Helms that combines two of the things L.A. is great at—design and food.
On Sunday, April 14 join KCRW and Helms Bakery for an afternoon of design and architecture with DnA's Frances Anderton.  Guests include LACMA Director Michael Govan, the Getty Research Institute's Wim de Wit, MOCA Guest Curator Christopher Mount, restaurateur Sang Yoon, Good Food Host Evan Kleiman, and KCRW art critic Hunter Drohojowska-Philp.   There will be live music from KCRW DJ Liza Richardson, a pop-up gallery of design curated by DnA's new "DJs" (design journalists), food trucks, and more!

The full day offers a walking tour prior to the talks--tickets are on sale now.
