The public is invited to the grand opening celebration on Saturday, January 14, 2017.

The grand opening event will feature a ribbon cutting ceremony, free face-painting for kids, a raffle and goodie bags with free clothing samples and other surprises. Light hors d'oeuvres and drinks will be served.

Miki Miette is a Los Angeles based baby + kids brand, known for its trendy yet comfy mix & match separates and go-to rompers. Miki Miette is sold in over 75 of the finest children's retailers across the US, including Barneys New York and Nordstroms.com. As a local mother, creator Sawako Yamauchi has now opened her inaugural flagship store in the heart of Culver City.

Ji specializes in casual chic lingerie and loungewear including a line created by owner and designer Nancy Yoo, the original founder of Fleur’t Intimates. With a focus on sustainable luxury, Ji is a destination spot for both comfy and fun loungewear and lingerie and all natural, organic beauty products and aromatherapy essentials. Ji shoppers will find everything from soft, body-loving bralettes and cotton cashmere separates to hand-crafted, upscale jewelry and essential oil special packs formulated for de-stressing, baby calming and everyday relaxation and rejuvenation. In addition to Fleur’t, Ji will soon offer curated pieces from Cosabella, Clo Intimo and other select lingerie collections with an emphasis on eco-conscious fabrications.

A portion of proceeds from the grand opening event will be donated to the Culver City Education Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting and enhancing quality educational programs for every student in the Culver City Unified School District.

QUOTES:

It had always been a dream of mine to open a flagship boutique for Miki Miette,” said Sawako Yamauchi. “When I stumbled upon this charming storefront, it was exactly what I had always envisioned and more. It was too good to pass up, especially considering it's in my neighborhood! I love the idea of contributing to my community with the regular free kids activities we're organizing, working with CCUSD on fundraising events and other non-profit partnerships we are forming. I look forward to growing with Culver City's booming downtown growth."

“Ji is a totally unique lingerie and loungewear boutique for Culver City, “ said Nancy Yoo. “I’m looking forward to bringing in new lines and other brands with an emphasis on sustainability, including brands that are rare to find because of how special they are. I personally love and have benefited from organic, all natural products, especially essential oils. I want to create the experience of conscious and joyful living and how fun it can be and everyone who walks into my store to share in that.”
