Kaiser Permanente COVID-19 Vaccination Site Opens in Culver City

Kaiser Permanente West Los Angeles is proud to announce the opening of a COVID-19 vaccination site at the Courtyard by Marriott Los Angeles Westside.

The new vaccination site opened on Wednesday, March 24th, and is vaccinating eligible Kaiser Permanente members and nonmembers.

“We are thrilled to offer this much-needed service to our communities,” said Dr. Kirk Tamaddon, area medical director and chief of staff, Kaiser Permanente West Los Angeles. “We couldn’t be more excited to have the opportunity to expand vaccine operations in the West Los Angeles area.”

The COVID-19 vaccine is available to all who are eligible regardless of insurance. Those interested in receiving their vaccine are required to make an appointment via kp.org/covidvaccine or by calling the Kaiser Permanente appointment call center at 1-833-574-2273. Kaiser Permanente will expand vaccine eligibility based on vaccine availability and changing guidelines from the state.

During its first day of operation, Kaiser Permanente staff administered roughly 500 doses at the new vaccination site. Capacity for appointments and doses of vaccinations will vary depending on vaccine availability.

Kaiser Permanente West Los Angeles Senior Vice President, Area Manager Lilit Zibari, RN, MSN, stated that the health care provider is committed to improving the health of their members and the communities they serve. “With the COVID-19 vaccine, our goal is to serve as many people as efficiently and as equitably as possible. Adding a new vaccination site will allow us to do just that.”

“We are grateful to the Marriott for their partnership,” added Zibari. “Together, we will continue to move closer to beating this virus.”
