LA League of Conservation Voters and SEIU-UHW Endorse Freddy Puza for Culver City Council

Candidate adds key endorsements two months before election November 8th

The weather is hot in Culver City, and so is Freddy Puza's run for Culver City Council. With recent endorsements pouring into the campaign, Puza announced new pledges of support from Los Angeles League of Conservation Voters, and labor union SEIU-UHW.

"I’m very honored to be endorsed by the Los Angeles League of Conservation Voters,” said Puza. “LALCV has been on the front lines as a champion of environmental activism due to a deep understanding of the extreme urgency of climate change. If elected, I will be a strong partner in continuing this work, and support a more environmentally progressive agenda for Culver City and the region."

Commenting on the endorsement from Service Employees International Union-United Healthcare Workers West (SEIU-UHW), Puza stated, "SEIU-UHW is a healthcare justice union of more than 100,000 healthcare workers, patients, and healthcare consumers united to ensure affordable, accessible, high-quality care for all Californians, provided by valued and respected healthcare workers. I respect the courage it takes for these workers to show up for their shifts day after day. We would not have made it through this pandemic without these nurses and other workers in the healthcare field, and the pandemic is still not over. I'm proud to be endorsed by SEIU-UHW and I'm committed to the work of supporting all workers."

Freddy Puza has racked-up a slew of major endorsements, from LA County Board of Supervisors Chair Holly J. Mitchell, California Assemblymember Isaac Bryan, Culver City Mayor Dr. Daniel Lee, Los Angeles City Council Member Mike Bonin, Culver City Council Members Yasmine-Imani McMorrin and Alex Fisch, and many other local and regional officials.

LA League of Conservation Voters and SEIU-UHW join a slate of respected organizations that have endorsed Puza’s campaign, including Abundant Housing LA, Culver City Democratic Club, LGBTQ Victory Fund, HONOR PAC, and Equality California.
