The Online Community for Culver City – The New Scene
Since 1993, Venice Arts has reached thousands of youth through our award-winning Art Mentoring Program Free to low-income families, more than 400 youth participate each year at our center in Venice or at an ArtPartner site in other areas of Los Angeles. A low student-to-artist ratio assures educational excellence and visual, digital, and media literacy: all key to future success.
Our programs include photography, filmmaking, and multimedia plus comics, animation, and writing that reach youth ages 6 to 18, while Art Discovery offers children ages 6 to 9 a hands-on, multi-disciplinary visual art curriculum. An Advanced Studies Track provides 1:1 mentoring, internships, portfolio development, help with college applications, and more. Advanced students are also given opportunities to work on special projects with other organizations and groups or to assist Venice Arts' on client print, video, or special projects.
Our Spring session workshops begin on January 14, 2017 and go on through April 7, 2017. For a complete list and schedule of classes, click here. For enrollment and general inquiries, please send an email to info@venice-arts.org or call (310) 392-0846.
