Early last week, a new restaurant -- called Muddy Leak -- opened at the former home of Batch restaurant in the Culver CIty Art District. The brain-child of caterer Bon Melange and chef Whitney Flood, the restaurant has been described as "super-seasonal." The inaugural menu offers duck with kumquat relish ($25), juniper-venison with foraged mushrooms (438), and wild-caught alaskan halibut with (aforementioned) melted leeks ($26).
