9th Annual City of Culver City Dr. King Celebration Is This Saturday

The 9th Annual City of Culver City Dr. King Celebration will take place on Saturday, January 18th from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm at the Culver City Senior Center.  The day will include Keynote Speaker Dr. Michael Bernard Beckwith from AGAPE International; panelists Dr. Scot Brown of UCLA, Dr. Kimberly King from KPFK, Ms. Candace Carnicelli of Common Peace and Attorney Nana Gyamfi.  There will be a video presentation from the Culver City Teen Center based on Common Peace’s 64 Ways to Practice Nonviolence, and a film screening of the documentary, A Filmed Record…Montgomery to Memphis.
