The great old sign for Gran Prix Auto Stereo was re-revealed late last week at the corner of Washington Blvd. and Girard in Culver CIty. This location had sold custom furniture for about as long as I can remember, but the furniture store closed last month and when they tore down the furniture sign, this old Gran Prix Auto Stereo sign saw the light of day for the first time in at least a decade. It's a very welcome reminder of the days when one could purchase a "Complete in dash radio stereo & tape player for just $69 (speakers not included)." Absolutely.
