The Online Community for Culver City – The New Scene
Restauranteur Matthew Kenney has brought his "plant-based fast casual" concept to downtown Culver City in the form of Make Out. Located just behind the Culver Hotel, the menu features salads, bowls, wraps, flatbreads, juices and sweets like macaroons and citrus bars.
Here's how his website describes the restaurant: "This modern and chic cafe ... will feature carefully crafted juices, nutritiously centered food and intelligently selected takeout products. While showcasing the innovative and appealing approach set forth by its founder, world renowned plant-based chef Matthew Kenney, Make Out will cater to the growing demand for plant-based whole foods and make them accessible in a everyday setting.
Sounds perfect for a healthy bite before a movie. Personally, I'm up for the Cobb wrap, with romaine, portobello. tomato, coconut bacon, and ranch.
