Combined Properties Shows Its Proposed Design for Empty Lot in Downtown Culver City

On October 3 and 4, the four developers named finalists to develop 9300 Culver Boulevard -- that 1-acre plot of land between Ince Parking Structure and the Culver Hotel, known as Parcel B -- presented their proposals to the Culver City City Council and the numerous Culver Citizens who packed the council meeting room.

In the second of a series (see the Tolkin Group's design here), I present images from the presentation of Combined Properties. Ehrlich Architects of Culver City will be engaged as the architectural firm responsible for the design and aesthetic of the project. According to Combined Properties' proposal, "The project includes significant new, public open space and a Grand Stair that may be utilized as a public amphitheater for events and concerts. By creating an amphitheater and open space adjacent to the Town Plaza, we are creating a 'sense of place' that allows community members and visitors to interact and appreciate the unique environment and historically significant buildings in Downtown Culver City."

Here are some images of their proposed design.
