The Online Community for Culver City – The New Scene
The Culver City Council has drafted a Single-Use Carryout Bag Ordinance that will ban single-use plastic carryout bags and require a minimum $0.10 per bag charge for single-use carryout paper bags.
They have organized two meetings this week to gather public input on this ordinance, including:
At both meetings, there will be a brief presentation by City staff followed by time for the community to ask questions and provide input.

The plastic bag has been a ecological disaster. I am glad we humans are finally taking responsibility and banning the plastic bag.
I'm surprised it's taken this long. My wife and I have used reusable bags for years.
I think we should absolutely ban the plastic bag. Down with the urban tumbleweed!
