Culver City Historical Society Begins New On-line Retrospective

This Friday, the Culver City Historical Society On-line introduced a new feature: Flashback Friday. The site will regularly post iconic, and in many cases long-unseen, images from their archive. This Friday, they kick the series off logically -- with City Hall, the structure designated Historic Site No. 1 by the Culver City Historical Society in 1991. Check out the website here.

Located in the Veterans Memorial Buidling at 4117 Overland Ave., the Culver City Historial Society Archives & Resource Center is open the 1st and 3rd Saturday of every month from 1:00 to 3:00 pm and by appointment. The Culver City Historical Society, founded in 1980, is a non-profit membership organization created for the purpose of collecting, preserving and exhibiting the history of Culver City and its cultural and civic accomplishments.
