Culver City's Cozy Inn Named Westside's Best Dive Bar

I previously remarked how LA Weekly recently named Oldfield's Culver CIty's Best Happy Hour (although Culver City Times member Natasha Ericta prefers the two (!.... Now the publication has awarded the designation "Best Westside Dive Bar" to Culver City's Cozy Inn. Here's writer Ben Westhoff on why Cozy Inn deserves the appellation:

Its specialty is super-generous, almost obscene pours. You know how if you order, say, a Jameson neat at most places, they give you what essentially amounts to a thimbleful of liquor? At Cozy Inn, it's more akin to a full highball glass. If you need further incentive, the space is large and homey-feeling, with an immaculate shuffleboard, pool, darts and ample parking.

I can vouch for this recommendation. It's a friendly place, and the shuffleboard table is a fun and unique way to pass a beery evening. Cozy Inn is located at 11155 Washington Place.
