Culver City Symphony To Play Faure, Hayden, Beethoven This Saturday
The Culver City Symphony's first concert of the 2014-15 Season is this Saturday, November 1, 2014, 8:00 pm at the Veterans Memorial Auditorium.
The program includes:
Fauré: Masques et Bergmasques (1919)
I. Overture, II. Menuet, III. Gavotte, IV. Pastorale: Andantino
Massenet: En fermant les yeux (La Rêve), Act II, "Manon"
Donizetti: Una furtiga lagrima,from Act II, Scene 2, "L'Elisir d'Amore"
Haydn: Cello Concerto in C Major (1809)
Beethoven: Symphony No. 7, A Major (1812)
I. Poco sostenuto-Vivace, II.Allegretto, III. Presto, IV. Allegro con brio
Tickets are $10 and are available at the box office the night of the concert. Those under 17 years of age get in for $15.
Veterans Memorial Auditorium is located at 4117 Overland Avenue.
