Expo Line Extension from Culver City to SM -- On Target for April or May 2016 Opening

According to Curbed LA, the Expo Line extension from Culver City to Santa Monica is entering its last phase of testing and will (likely) be open to the public in April or May of 2016. This is according to the Exposition Metro Line Construction Authority's latest report -- although Curbed does include this caveat:

That's their estimate, not Metro's, and Metro will, of course, have the final say in when the line is ready to operate. (There are plenty of tests they have to run.) Metro previously announced that the line would open in the spring of 2016, but hasn't elaborated further.

But still, exciting news that they're on target.
