The Online Community for Culver City – The New Scene
"A good photograph blurs the line between reality and fantasy. When I look at a picture, I love it if ... it has a dream quality to it, as if it transcends the real life moment when it was taken." So said Charlie Rubin in a recent interview with foam magazine. And by that definition, Rubin's new show of photographs which opens at Kopeikin Gallery in Culver City this Saturday, April 25, is filled with good photography indeed -- as is that of fellow exhibitor Tabita Soren. The opening reception with the artists runs from 6:00 - 8:00 pm and is -- as always -- free, open to the public, and likely to be lots of fun.
