Go See a Hip Hop Dance Performance in Culver City July 8 & 9

Los Angeles hip hop dance company, Antics, is performing an new full length hip-hop dance performance on July 8 and 9 at the Ivy Substation in Media Park in downtown Culver City. A collaboration with spoken word artist, Mark Gonzales, Sneaker Suites delves into the diverse and personal relationships that street dancers have with one of the most highly-purchase fashion items in the world: sneakers. 

Antics creates multimedia urban dance performances that incorporate bboying/bgirling (breakdancing), krump, house dance, locking, popping, waacking, capoeira, DJs, MCs, poetry, theater, and film into hand-clapping, foot-stomping performances.

Tickets are $30 and $25 for students, seniors and anyone bringing "one pair of gently used shoes to donate to Soles4Souls.org."

This performance is made possible in part by a Culver City Performing Arts Grant with support from Sony Pictures Entertainment.
