It was previously estimated that the state would complete its Environmental Impact Report for the restoration of Ballona Wetlands (including the visitors center proposed by the Annenberg Foundation) by this fall. Now, the latest estimate is that the report will not be completed until the spring of 2014. After the release of this report, there will be a window for public comment.

Despite the delay, I'll be continuing my series on Area C of Ballona with a long look at the Annenberg Foundation's proposal for Area C (including a large Visitors Center) in the next week or so -- complete with the latest details straight from Annenberg Foundation Executive Director Leonard Aube.
