Terry Riley, the composer of such seminal pieces of minimalism as "In C" and "Poppy Nogood" will perform at Blum & Poe Gallery in Culver CIty this Wednesday, September 14. Riley will perform with the Calder Quartet, a group based out of the based out of the Colburn School in downtown Los Angeles.

The bad news is the tickets are $100 apiece. The good news is that all proceeds will benefit the launch of the Calder Performing Arts Organization, dedicated to bringing outstanding artistic experiences to the public by sharing knowledge and passion of the string quartet through performance and curation of existing works, education, and the commissioning of new works. To purchase tickets, please click here.
