This Saturday, the 7th of January, is gearing up to be a big night at the Culver City Art District. I've already received show opening announcements for the Kopeikin Gallery, Luis De Jesus, and Blum & Poe. And if I know these galleries, that means there are going to be plenty more.

A new show by Ardeshir Tabrizi, called "Observations in Linear Time," is opening at Kopeikin. The image above is from that show, which, according to the gallery's website,"explores the passage of time through a photographic study and accompanied by a site-specific sound installation."

Blum & Poe is presenting a show by artist Sam Durant called "Build Therefore Your Own World."

The openings generally run from 6ish to 8ish, and are always free and a lot of fun. See you there.
