There's a new mural in progress behind The Wood restaurant in West Culver City. It's by muralist Mear One, a Los Angeles-based artist known for his often-political street graffiti art. The people I talk to about street art are really psyched about it -- Mear One is a big deal. I definitely admire it's dynamic quality, but I worry about the didactic "GMO" there on the evil Oz's forehead. Subtle it's not! The mural isn't done yet, but what do you think so far?
